George had an extensive amateur career from a young age, representing Yorkshire U18s from the age of 15, a member of the England U16 regional squad for three years, and then selected for Home Internationals and European Boys aged 18.
George then received the opportunity to attend James Madison University in Virginia on a D1 golf scholarship. Whilst attending JMU, he was able to elevate his game further and achieve a World Amateur Golf Ranking inside the top 500 in the world. He went on to win a number of accolades, including Second Team All East Coast in his sophomore year, Conference First Team three years running at JMU, and broke a number of historic team records over his four years.
George is now excited to embark on his PGA qualification whilst working and coaching at Metric Golf Club. He is excited to share his wealth of knowledge, whilst utilising the advanced technology incorporated within Metric Golf Club.
