Tara combines her competitive experience in America with a supportive approach to coaching, helping golfers build confidence, improve their game and enjoy the process, with a passion for inspiring more girls and women to play.
Tara's golfing journey began at the age of 12, leading to representing Yorkshire before taking her game to the US, where she spent two years in Kansas and two years in Georgia. During her four years competing in collegiate golf, she won an individual title and earned First Team honours.
Her experience in the US helped develop her course management, competitive mindset and ability to perform under pressure. Now a PGA Trainee at Metric Golf Club, Tara draws on this experience to help golfers improve their consistency, build confidence and get more out of their game. She is particularly passionate about inspiring more girls and women to take up golf and enjoy the sport.
